Our Doctors

Dr. Susan Sczepanski

Dr. Susan Sczepanski

Dr. Sczepanski moved to Columbia in 1986 to complete her Bachelor's Degree in Biology and enter the MU College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation in 1991, she moved to Wisconsin for 18 months in mixed animal practice. In 1993, she happily returned "home" to join Horton Animal Hospital-Forum and facilitated its transition from satellite clinic to full-service hospital. She became the managing partner in 1995.  With the hard work of Dr. Reisdorf and the rest of the Forum team, she proudly built and opened the new hospital in 2005.

From a young age, Dr. S had an affinity for the non-traditional pet. That has continued into her practice. In addition to dogs and cats, she treats small mammals, reptiles and potbellied pigs. She is an Adjunct Instructor with the MU College of Veterinary Medicine Department of Veterinary Pathobiology and lectures annually at the College of Veterinary Medicine on non-traditional pets and genomics.

Dr. S lives in Southwest Columbia with four dogs, one cat and a very understanding husband, DJ. Her interests include: travel, riding her Harley and music. She is a proud member of the teaching cadre for a Tactical Emergency Medical School that offers continuing education for medics on tactical teams across the nation.  Each year Dr. S runs the base camp for Team Sirius, a 40 rider BikeMS cycling team that raises money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.  She is a member of the Mid-Missouri Community Council for the National MS Society and the Logistics Committee for the BikeMS Gateway Getaway.

Dr. Reisdorf enjoys staying active by running, swimming, biking, and hiking.  She is a retired triathlete, having completed 7 Ironman triathlons.  Her other hobbies include reading, music, scuba diving, traveling and exercising her very active dog.

Dr. Lindsay Dorr

Dr. Lindsay Dorr

Dr. Dorr is originally from Monroe, NC. She graduated from the NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine, but her loyalty likes with the Tar Heels at her undergraduate alma mater.

In 2008 she moved with her husband, Paul, back to Columbia where he had attended veterinary school at MU.  She has been with our Forum Team ever since.

When she is not working, Dr. Dorr looks for every opportunity to be outside on a nice day.  Running, walking the trails, and playing guitar are favorite hobbies.  The Dorrs also enjoy volunteering with the local organization, Be The Change Volunteers, to build schools in underprivileged communities abroad and attending the MU football games in the fall.

Dr. March with the Horton Animal Hospital-Forum

Dr. Mary March

Dr. March joined our professional staff in 2013. She finds dermatology intriguing and loves a good challenge. She also helps Dr. S with the occasional non-traditional pet.

A 1994 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. March is originally from St. Louis. Her husband is from Columbia and with their two children they chose to return to be closer to family.

The March family also includes 2 dogs and 2 cats. Dr. March enjoys running, gardening, Cardinals baseball and spending time with family and friends.

Although she was born in Madison, WI, Dr. Weitzel claims to be a native Columbian, supporting the Missouri Tigers and Cardinals baseball. Dr. Luebbering's love for animals began with growing up on her parent's farm in St. Thomas, Missouri.  In her free time, she enjoys coaching for various sports with Special Olympics, running and other outdoor activities and spending time with her 10 nieces and nephews. She is an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She shares her home with her 3 cats, Izzy, Ozzie and Eckstein and her dog, Pepper.
